the hardwood is called Kempas and the hardness for this wood is almost double when comparing to Maple wood. The quality of the wood is in-line with high-graded hardwood floor. When dealing with harder wood, the installation is slightly different from tranditional install. We relied on Liu's knowledge and experience, but Unfortunately neither us nor Liu has that kind of knowledge and techiniques. we're the victim because of Liu's lack of knowledge and lack of experience when handling with different species wood. Like I said in my previous post, if it were only few spots that were demaged by Liu's installation, we would let go. we were not seeking for 100% perfection, but 80% should be expected. Do your self a favor and don't sound so innocent and naive, Hardwoods like cherry or jotoba, the installation is handled differently. Liu has been in the field for many years, he should has that knowledge
