我看到的关系是这样的，左右就看是否批准保释。
法官第一次拒绝批准Lich的保释，于是有些人说这个法官参加过自由党的竞选，可是他们似乎忘了这位法官在几天前刚批准了另一位车队领袖的保释。

然后他的律师争辩说他在狱在等待审判，可能感染 covid 19，要求同意保释，法官认为这个理由很可笑，因为 King 认为covid 19不存在，是抗议政府的 covid 19 措施而入狱的，现在又认为在狱中会感染 covid 19。
His lawyer had argued for bail due to the risk that King could catch COVID-19 in jail while awaiting trial. This prompted the judge to address the irony of the situation: "an individual whose raison d'etre is to protest vehemently against public health measures designed to reduce the spread of COVID, would now suggest that the delay or the potential for being infected at a detention centre could impact the court's decision."[31]

而被起诉的人，如果不是非常严重的罪行，一般保释也是没问题的，拿不到的属于例外，必有原因。当然保释不是权力 (right)，而是特权 (privilege)

别瞎想像了。原因新闻说的很清楚了，拘押时间已经超过认罪所需要的服刑时间。为了多关几天，土豆已经是彻底不要脸了，但这些土豆司法系统真的很愚蠢，卡车司机就是个松散组织活动，所谓领导者也不是什么真正意义的领袖，报复一个普通人，对大众有多大教育意义呢，让老百姓里糊涂的也开始明白了。
